Dreamy Fashion, Dreamy Dresses and awful shoes!

Hi Lovelies,

Aww Paris Fashion Week, I have been indulging today and looking at lots of shows online with my Costa Coffee - a pretty lovely way to while away a Sunday afternoon!

I was really looking forward to the Celine show, and the clothes were so beautiful and the draping devine, and I know that everybody is going to go bonkers for the paper bag style leather bags BUT the shoes ....... oh no, no, no. We need to talk abou the shoes! They are all kinds of wrong! I am blaming it on Pheobe's pregnancy - it must be doing some very strange things - it is the only plausable explanation!

Furkinstocks!

Hideous!

There are simply now words for these!

We also took Pooky Pug to Bushy Park for a long walk - I love the start of Autumn when the leaves are changing - and the conkers are on the ground.

Jools Wore

Tailored Shorts - Miss Selfridge, with very thick tights!

with oversized black knit jumper that I blogged about recently from Topshop

with this Topshop Blouse underneath so you could just see the pearl detailed collar

and I know that I don't 'need any more jackets - but I am in love with this biker style tweed one
from Zara

Fantasy Tweed Zipped Biker Jacket - Zara £89.99

and lastly for today, Holly Valance has just got married in a fairy tale setting in Beverley Hills to Billionaire Nick Candy. Poor Nick, for years I was thinking that Billionaire was his first name as it is the only way he is ever described .......... !

What do you think of her dress?

The one where we get to meet one seriously talented Wedding Dress Designer!

Suzanne Neville

Hi Lovelies,

Well today was very special. My friend is getting married in a few weeks and of course has chosen her dress. But today was the day we actually got to meet Suzanne Neville, the wedding dress designer - for a Toille at her London Store.

A Toille is a calico fitting of your dress. So that it can be measured within a milimetre to your body for a completely bespoke service.

Holly Willoughby did a fab VT of meeting Suzanne so that you can see how the process works. It is really interesting. The woman is a genius and makes a piece of cotton that will be thrown away after, look like a beautiful fitted gown! She is lovely too!

Below are just a few of the beautiful outfits that she has designed - this designer sure knows her way around a corset!

She absolutely has the dream job - and deserves it completely as she is so talented - it truly was a pleasure to spend just a little bit of time with her watching her work her magic.

So we definitely needed a celebratory glass of Champagne and some lunch after that!

I also went into Louis Vuitton to try on the new Rose Pop Sprouse Scarf

I am obsessed with these scarves and am lucky enough to own a couple already, so faced with a colour this gorgeous, I thought it was a done deal and that it would be coming home with me!

BUT, the size has been drastically reduced! Although it is now more expensive than it has ever been the size makes it now much more of a scarf than a stole.

My first two I can use as a blanket! They are so vast that I can wrap them around 3 times and if I leave them hanging loose,  they both fall well below the knee. This new one didnt reach my knees at all - it has lost its luxurious size and feeling of complete luxury - and for £490 that is not OK at all.

I will stick with the considerably more lovely ones that I already own and enjoy those!

Chanel is super well stocked at the moment as well. I had a lovely stroke
of some of the new in bags - Purple and Blue are some of the new in colours for winter - with the
Boy Bag available in Purple leather this week - and the much coveted velvet in the next couple of weeks!

And after all this, we still found time to check out a potential venue for the Hen Party
(I am taking my Bridesmaids duties very seriously)

So tonight finds Jools with a glass of Baileys and her PJs on - a great end to a fabulous day!

What have you been up to this weekend?

Friday - Results of Japanese Hair Straightening, and cocktail o clock!

Hi Lovelies,

Happy Friday.

Today has been a good Friday. I was meeting my Mum for lunch which is always a nice way to spend the day, and then we all went out for dinner this evening and a couple of Raspberry Caipirinha's were involved.

Family and food, it doesn't get much better :)

So today was 72 hours since I tried the Japenese Hair Straightening system - WELL IT ONLY BLOODY WORKS!!!

I had read so many reviews and had been so careful over the past 3 days to not get my hair wet that I was hopeful that it would give a good result.

So, I washed my hair this morning with a salt free Shampoo and Conditioner, and as soon as I wet it, I could tell it felt smoother and softer - kind of like you had just put a deap heat treatment on.

I let it towel dry for a while, then without using any product at all I blow dried it with a paddle brush.
It took 6 minutes exactly and my hair was kink free and there was absolutely no need to use straighteners after. If I had put serum etc on it would have been poker straight but I wanted to see what the results were with absolutely no styling product in.

I am always a little cynical about these things. I love to read reviews and hear about how amazing things are - and I really want to believe them, I really do! But I rarely expect them to work on me. Well this time I can say it totally works

Today Jools Wore

Curve Heel Shoe Boots - Topshop £60

Green Lace Top - Next

Bright Pink Lipstick in "Legend" by Louise Grey £10

Animal Print Flock Jeans - Zara £39.99

and scarf from Zara

Tomorrow I have a day in London planned - what are you up to?

Thursday. And I am Batgirl :)

Hello Lovelies,

Well my gorgeous JW Anderson for Topshop Bat Jumper arrived this morning - and I adore it!

I actually cannot wait to wear it - I will take lots of piccies shortly - I am one super happy bunny and so glad that I managed to track one down.

I can finally wash my hair tomorrow morning, and I will let you know how my hair is in real life after this treatment, and if it does dry differently! I will be so surprised if it does work!

I have been wearing my Zara studded boots non stop for the last couple of weeks and they are fast becoming my favourites. They take no time to wear in, and the heel is just high enough to give me some height, but so easy to walk in. But I was a little worried about how taupe suede would survive in the rain. Zara have very helpfully solved the dilemma for us. They have released them this week in black - perfecto!

Zara Studded Cowboy Boots £69.99

If anybody is looking for a great pair of boots at a good price - I can totally recommend them.

They are slightly higher than the Topshop ones that I was also lucky enough to get
so I will alternate them and these will see me right through winter!

Just a little blog tonight.

Hey it is Friday - we made it through the week!

A little shop, and a little look at Elizabeth Lau for Asos

Hello Lovelies,

Well I am already finding it quite tough not being able to tuck my hair behind my ears or tie it up! How are people supposed to shower? I did not think this hair straightening thing through! Sigh - only another 2 days to go! The instructions say that if it gets wet by accident you just dry it and straighten again, but I am really trying to keep it dry! The worst thing is not being able to wear a scarf for 3 days - Jools likes her comfort blankets!

Which is proving difficult as the weather is awful at the moment too! Perhaps I should just hibernate until Friday!

It was week 2 of my Pilates Course this evening, and I am really loving it so far.

This morning, PC had an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar which just happens to be opposite Zara - so of course I went along to keep him company heheheee!

I am smitten with these two little pretties and want to put this little outfit together!

Bib Fronted Sheer Shirt

Good Old Toppers does it again! Blouse £36 Topshop

and pair it with this little Denim Pinafore

Denim Zip Front Pinafore - Also Topshop and also £36!

I am thinking with thick tights, my huge new woolly scarf from Zara (when I finally am allowed to wear a scarf again!) and some ankle boots for a little bit of a geek chic look! What do we think?

I also tried on the Lace & Leather Zara Dress that I blogged about last week

Leather and Lace Dress - Zara £99

It is seriously nice if anybody is looking for a special dress for a special occasion.
The price is great and it is really detailed.
It has already sold out online

I didn't buy it, but now I kinda wish I had!

and I liked this little waffle knit top - the material is really thick though -
so would be fab for winter

Also from Zara - I 'think' the price was £35 - I will put it on the kind-of-want list for now!

This was cute too - it is a nice fabric and colour - I probably have enough Peplum
tops tho!

Bandage Peplum Top £26 - Topshop

ooh and the Denim Dress that I bought for summer that I know a few of you
liked - well they have also bought out a darker denim one for winter!

Studded Denim Long Sleeve Dress £55

And, while we are on the subject of new in pieces ......
The Elizabeth Lau collection for Asos is now available

A little bit of info on her:

ABOUT ELIZABETH LAU FOR ASOS
As a child, Elizabeth Lau loved nothing more than sewing, making things and playing dress up in her mother’s Biba. Now heading up her own fashion label, Elizabeth Lau for ASOScollections are fresh but still unmistakeably British, contrasting sweet and cool across a collection of dresses and knitwear, often adorned with her signature love heart motif.

Elizabeth Lau for Asos Dog & Bone Jumper £75

Heartbreaker Jumper £65

and finally. RIP Andy Williams
I wasn't introduced to Moon River until the Sex and the City days, but what a beautiful song, and it is how I  will remember him.
