Lording it up in Laduree ......

Hi Lovelies,

Just a little blog tonight as I have only just got home from a fabulous day out.

I met up with some amazing girl friends today and we went to the Valentino Exhibition (yes, Jools has been on a train twice in 5 days - this is unprecedented!)

The exhibition was great - really informative and getting to see the couture dresses so close up really makes you appreciate the attention to detail that is not captured in pictures. They were pretty spectacular pieces.

We then went over to Harrods for a Laduree afternoon tea. The mark of a great day is when you are too busy to even take pictures - and we ALL completely forgot to get a single one of us all together. How rubbish are we!!!

We spend almost 3 hours, drinking pink champagne, cocktails and of course trying out the macaroons!

Thanks to Nad's, Dee and Emma for such a lovely day. We didn't stop chatting for a single second!

I did see the Mulberry Alexa in person today, it was absolutely beautiful, and the colour was as I had hoped, but we also saw a bag in red that was (for me) even lovelier - so I will have to think about them both some more!

Today Jools Wore

Ombre Floral Dress - Topshop £60 - The colours make me hopeful for Spring soon!

So this tired bunny is going to go to bed early with the weekly glossy magazines and
smile about my fab day!!

An massive valentine hint- ooops I mean blog ......... silly me!

Hello lovelies,

Today has been a horrible wash-out, it did not stop raining all day. This meant I had no excuses not to do the dreaded chores. They were made bearable by promising my hands a manicure tomorrow - hey, whatever gets you through!

The Mulberry Valentine Alexa that I have been heavily hinting, sorry blogging about is now in stock for all the lucky ladies that are getting an amazing Valentine gift from their partners - or who love themselves enough to know they deserve this beauty.

I really hope I get to see it in real life on Wednesday, as I am hoping it is a true lipstick red. Now that it is stock, there are lots more pictures of it - but the nicest touch by far is that it has heart studs on the straps instead of the usual round ones - such a lovely detail and made me swoon!! This is the bag that is going to stop my search for the perfect red bag - I can just feel it !!!!! (and PC, it is MUCH cheaper than a Chanel Red .............. )

How freaking cute is that!!!!!

I wear a lot of black and grey - this would just give such a pop of colour

On Wednesday I am going to the Valentino Exhibition at Somerset House in London with some of my lovely fashion friends - I am so looking forward to seeing all of the beautiful outfits AND spending the day with my girls!

Here are just a few of the amazing gowns that are on display

If you are a fan of fashion, red carpet gowns, or exquisite design
this exhibition really is a must-see - I cannot wait!

Back in the real world and it was a casual day today
thanks to the weather.

But I did wear my heart on my sleeve (I must have subconsciously known that the bag would be released today!) Jools Wore

This jumper is adorable. It is so soft and easy to wear, and the heart detailing on the
sleeve stole my heart too (pardon the pun!)

I added a pearl and crystal collar with it today

Grey Heart Elbow Jumper - ASOS £22

The link for this little jumper is HERE!!

and how gloriously kitsch is this Karl Lagerfeld key fob!

Karl Keyring - new in at Net-a-Porter £119

Hi Lovelies,

Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. I spent the day in London yesterday which let us be honest, is never a hardship, and it gave me a chance to check out the brand new S/S 2013 pieces that are coming in.

I wanted to see the Miu Miu pieces the most - all the candy and sorbet colours have completely stolen my heart.

The cady pieces are by far my favourite - sadly - and a not very well known fact, is that Cady in Latin means obscenely bloody expensive ................. (ok, I may have made that up!)
Each piece starts at around £1000 if it has any embellishment on it, and I am a sucker for the detailing! So much sighing went on as piece after piece became more covetable, and more expensive than the last.

Pastel Pink dresses, lemon yellow blouses, citrus green and blackcurrent coloured bags, bright candy coloured wallets - it was ALL so beautiful, and looked so fresh and spring like after the icy temperatures outside.

All so pretty!

I wore my Burberry Trench Coat into London as it was so cold

with a little bit of Hermes!

Hermes CDC

and a glass of Kir Royale for lunchy with PC

What are your weekend plans? I would love to hear all about them

Thankyou for reading xx

Final week of Net-a-Porter Sale mean some huge discounts

Hi Lovelies,

It was the dreaded college parent/teacher meetings this evening. The time of the year when you have to pretend to be a grown up - something I have never really been particularly good at. It was all good news so we went out after to celebrate and met my brother for supper.

It is the final week of the Net-a-Porter Winter sale. Lots of items are now at 70% off, but you did have to be very quick as they went fast.

Some YSL Arty rings have also now gone into the sale at 50% so if anybody is tempted. There are some really pretty ones. You can have a little look at some by clicking the link right HERE!! and there are a few styles still available.

I had been hoping that a Mulberry Silk Dress I had fallen for would be reduced further. It was £495 to begin with, and it was such pretty colours AND had long sleeves so it could be worn right now! It was reduced in the sale to half price. BUT they still had a few available at that price so I thought I would risk it and wait and see if it was reduced further (see, I can show restraint!) Oh I do adore a game of fashion roulette!

I love the print - it looks like a watercolour canvas painting that has gotten wet!

Mulberry Bloom Silk Wash Dress - Was £495 - reduced to £148.50

and, I picked up my first pair of Current Elliott's

They are a really nice fit and another great discounted purchase and best of all they are
a cropped style - which means full length on Jools and I can roll them up!

I will wear them with my Louboutin Boots
(which is really just any excuse to get them out and photograph and sniff them whenever I can!)

Current Elliott The Rolled Skinny Jean - were £185 - now £55.50

and lastly

I jumped on this as we have booked a summer holiday, and this was so pretty
but I was worried that perhaps it might be a little - ahem - maybe too plunge like
but I figured at the price it was worth trying! (it was cheaper than a High Street one!)

Well - IT IS AMAZING! not too revealing at all and the blush colour is beautiful!

Miu Miu Blush Plunge Front Swimsuit - was £130 - now £39
(definitely an incredible buy)

It is not often that you manage to grab such great deals
and find that everything is a keeper (especially when ordering jeans online!) so I was very happy.

I promise I am done with sale buys now!
(and yes PC, you can count this blog as having that in writing!)
