Well, it is finally available from this week in a range of colours and the price starting at £765 (much lower than Longchamp had originally anticipated) makes it a serious contender for that perfect autumn/winter bag.

Different stores are carrying it in different colour ways - I love the contrast colour of the handles

Prices start at £1435 for this size and £875 for the cross body version

It's a really exciting shape for Balenciaga who now have Alexander Wang as their creative Director.

I guess it will compete with Saint Laurent's sac de jour.
