The Calm before the storm ………..

Hello Lovelies,

Well this week has been a complete and utter disaster on the stress scale. I may have a heart attack before I get to Hawaii, and as for the poor person that is massaging me next week - she is gonna need more than her bare hands to sort the knots in my back out!

36 hours from now we will be on a flight to LA - and we haven't even got the suitcases down from the loft yet!!!!

I am not usually this disorganised I promise, if I close my eyes, I have an idea of what I will be taking - but actually physically packing makes everything seem so real that I can hardly breathe ………. I am going to miss my girls so. so much. 
Today I have tasked them both with taking a photo that they both approve of to put in my locket so that they will be with us.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to my lovely friend Dave - he knows exactly why - and hope that he forgives me my mini meltdown this morning - I owe you lunch as soon as I get back :)

The only thing I have done so far is decide what sunglasses are coming - and in true Jools spirit I could only whittle it down to 3! Well you need a different pair for every eventuality - right?

Tomorrow I just need to confirm our hotel in LA for Friday night and book the Starline tour so that we can be complete and utter tourists and see all of the Stars Homes, and of course do the Hollywood walk of fame - I will be on a mission to find Marilyn Monroe's Star Oh and then change some money, get my nail done, transfer everything into my Mulberry bag and then pack ! Nothing like leaving everything until the last minute!

I have plenty of playsuits, denim shorts and vests, bikini's and sundresses - what more can a girl need when it is 30 degrees in Maui - right!

Crazy for Miu Miu

Hi Lovelies,

Happy Valentines Day to everybody. I hope you are having a gorgeous time and that the weather has not spoilt it too much for you.

All around us are suffering terribly from flooding. We are so lucky to not be living close to the river, so their is no fear of flooding thankfully, but all of the local roads around us are closed, so getting around is tricky right now.

PC and I went into Richmond today for a lovely lunch and a glass of bubbles at a french restaurant. I learnt years ago to not go out in the evening on Valentines Day! It is never romantic when the table next to you is so close you can hear everything, so lunch was perfect.

I got a beautiful necklace as a Valentines Gift which I had been coveting to take on holiday next week. I kind of thought it would work with all my summer dresses and outfits! I also got a Mason & Pearson Hairbrush to spoil my hair with. Thank you Darling! x

Now, it is not often that I am consumed by jealousy - but seriously, anybody who has the available funds to buy the Miu Miu 2014 Spring/Summer collection - I am completely green with envy (and maybe hate you just a little bit too!!)

Sigh, each piece is just beautiful - but so very expensive.

Look out for our favourite celebrities rocking these pieces in the next couple of weeks as they are just being made available now.

I had a lovely day with my friend Clairey yesterday, celebrating her birthday. Cocktails on a Monday definitely make the start of the week more bearable!

My ongoing mission to find summer pieces in February is going slowly but well! This is what I found recently from my TopShop scout.

My beautiful new Mulberry Alexa has arrived - oh gosh she is so beautiful

I am thinking that this should be the bag I take on holiday, as she is the perfect colour for hot weather,  so I could use her immediately.

This beauty is obviously not for a holiday - but I loved it at full price and

so I couldn't resist it at half price - my Mum has already tried to steal it from me today!

This camisole vest is exquisite - the fabric is so lovely and it will be perfect

for daytime or a balmy evening.

I am going to take my Louis Vuitton Sprouse Shawl as a cover up for evenings
