All the looks from the 2014 Emmys ………..

Hi Lovelies,

It is super easy to stay up late on a bank holiday Monday when you are faced with hundreds of stunning designer gowns & beautiful ladies to drool over.
It is not quite so glamourous blogging all of the pictures in the morning though with the rain falling out of the sky - whilst wearing your PJs.

But here goes! Red was most definitely the colour of the evening - worn in a myriad of shades from pink to scarlet, nudes and stark white were also firm favourites.

Sarah Hyland from Modern Family looked stunning, but for me Julia Roberts was easily the best dressed of the night - she looked effortlessly cool and kind of made everybody else look like show ponies! A cocktail length dress is unusual for the Emmys - but she made it look like it was everything!

So feast your eyes on these beautiful gowns (and people!!)

Sarah Hyland looking stunning in Christian Siriano

Christina Hendricks in Marchesa

January Jones in Prabal Garung

Gwen Stefani sparkled in Swarovski covered Atelier Versace

Claire Danes - Givenchy

Julia Louis-Dreyfus picked up an Emmy wearing Caroline Herrera

Minnie Driver - Marchesa

Julia Roberts in Elie Saab Couture

Heidi Klum in Zac Posen

LOVED Cat Deeley in Burburry

Michelle Monaghan - Giambattista Valli

Halle Berry in Silk Chiffon Elie Saab

Kerry Washington (Scandal) in Prada

Lucy Liu in Zac Posen

Taylor Schilling in nude Zuhair Murad

Black definitely stood out amongst all the colour this year - I love this look

Lizzy Caplan in Donna Karan Atelier

Sofia Vergera in Roberto Cavalli

Hayden Panettiere in Lorena Sarbu
with the cutest accessory of the evening - her adorable baby bump

Zooey Deschanel in Pink Oscar de la Renta

Camilla Alves wore Zuhair Murad

and for me, the ones who didn't get it right were

Katherine Heigl - who looked like she was wearing a bad bridesmaids dress from her 27 Dresses Movie

Sarah Paulson in Armani Prive (just too much netting for me!)

and I have no words really to fully sum up Lena Durham's Giambattista Valli outfit

So, which was your favourite look of the night?

Shoe Heaven at Harrods ……….

Hi Lovelies,

OK, so Bank Holiday Monday is a complete wash out - but who doesn't like the excuse to stay home and do nothing much!

I got to visit the incredible new Shoe space inside Harrods on Friday - Shoe Heaven. It is even more amazing than I hoped it would be.

High up on the 5th floor they have built 17 stunning Boutiques from all the major designers so that each one is like stepping into an individual shoe store, and beyond those they have aisles and aisles of shoes and bags on display from over 50 other shoe designers. It is incredibly decadent with crystal chandeliers, plush velvet seating everywhere - the kind of place you could lose yourself for hours!

Every single designer is here - it completely lives up to it's name as it really is heavenly! In Manolo Blahnik they have the highest space in Harrods and they have left the windows clear so that you can see the whole of London below - which was almost as impressive as the shoes.

You have got to see it to believe it - so what more reason do you need to go?

The Louboutin Store was incredible of course, and I picked up the new Nail Polish they have bought out that is the exact colour of the Red Soles - so now our toes can match our loubies!
Too cool ………

I think I have found THE perfect winter boots for Jools - I will blog about them soon

So, if you can, take a visit - it will seriously blow your mind -
and quite probably your wallet.

A little Mulberry treat ……...

Hi Lovelies,

It is our daughter Elli's 19th Birthday today. It still seems pretty hard to believe to be honest! She has gone to the Reading Festival for 4 days so I am all kinds of nervous. I just hope she has an amazing time. Our younger daughter had some great results from her exams today - so it has been a huge day Chez Jools!

I picked up a gorgeous little Mulberry bracelet the other day while shopping with my lovely friend Clairey. I had seen it a little while ago and fell in love with the super cute little postman lock closure - and now that the temperature has dropped a little bit, I reasoned it was time to wear some darker colours (what - thats a good enough excuse, surely!!!)

I already adore it!

Bayswater Postman Lock Chain Bracelet - Mulberry

and this is my must buy piece of the week.
It is from good old Topshop and it is the perfect transitional dress.
Lightweight cotton with long sleeves, wear it now and then pop a jumper or leather jacket over the top in the coming weeks

I love that the bust is fitted, so it is going to look really flattering -
some shirt dresses can look a little boxy.

Chambray Shirt Dress - new this week at Topshop - £48

and if you are thinking about a new winter bag - this one is stunning

Obsedia Bag in light grey leather - Givenchy £1740

and lastly for today
erm just how amazing does Alexa Chung look in this incredible Burberry Prorsum dress.
God, I want it too!!!!!

WOW!!!!
