Wine Wednesday ......

Hi Lovelies,

I had a little pamper at the hairdressers today which is always a nice way to spend the afternoon, so I am feeling a little more chilled than I was yesterday. A knock at the door also helped brighten my day ........

I'm really missing my husband this week.

I have found a dress that I want so badly I could eat my own arm - which would be ridiculous -  this dress is all about the arm detailing, and having one less than I should would totally ruin the line ...........

It is this beauty from Roksanda Ilincic. I am going to use it as my VOD but I really want it to become a reality ......... now where could I go to justify wearing this!

Margot Lantern Dress £950

I would team it with these silk shoes from Acne (but it would also look amazing with a pair of nude heels)

Turquoise Alice Platform Shoes by Acne £360

and this clutch ( I love that the front of the clutch is the shape of the Pigalle Shoe!!)

Pigalle Satin Clutch by Christian Louboutin £495

My Topshop order has been despatched. So should be here tomorrow. I ordered these two pieces.

China Floral Print Dress £36

I am only an ickle one, but I have ordered the dress from the Tall range as I want it to fall to the knee so that I can wear it right now as a more ladylike daytime dress with a little jacket over the top. I will let you know tomorrow if my cunning plan has worked out ok!

Beaded Peter Pan Collar Blouse £34

This little blouse sells out as soon as it comes back into stock so I was pleased I managed to put one in my basket yesterday. Such a great price for such a detailed little top.

I also found this little cutie in New Look. I never usually have any luck in here, but my friend Vic always finds amazing things that look much more expensive than they are. Anyway, this top looked kind of vintage and it was a great buy at £22.00 !

Blush Paisley Lace Top - New Look £21.99

I am going to wear it with a nude or black vest underneath.

It is of course Wine Wednesday - Today I am having a glass of this (and a Cadburys Creme Egg!)

Thanks for reading my blog, I really appreciate it x

Until tomorrow

Tuesday - Surely we need a little treat to celebrate a Leap Year

Hi Lovelies,

I am irrationally moody today! Anybody who knows me knows that I just don't DO moody, but I can't help it and worse, I just can't shake it off.
I am slightly cheered by the fact that a few friends feel exactly the same just now - maybe there is something in the air!!

So, and I know its a cliche, but I just don't care! There is only one way to get rid of a feeling like this .........

You know it - Shopping.....

Zara and me got very well acquainted earlier (although don't even get me started on a delivery charge of £10!) BUT it wasn't enough!! I still felt teary and rubbish, and incomplete! Maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough ......... hmmmm, maybe Topshop could assist.

So I went and picked up the weekly glossies so that the lovely Maria and I could make style notes tonight of anything that catches our eye (it is the equivalent of when you were little and chose lots of things from your Mums catalogue - you must have done that right!!??? - except now you can actually have them!!!)

So I popped the kettle on in readiness of a lovely flick through. Except that the glossies are nowhere to be found ......... My dippy Mum not only took last weeks magazines home with her, she took my lovely new untouched ones too ....... This would normally give me a fit of the giggles, not today - Nope, today it is a conspiracy against me!

Sooo, I had to go out and buy them all again ....... I am going to stop moaning now I promise!

Hopefully, the second batch of Magazines will help to focus the mind. I have compiled a March list of pieces that I really want to come home with me and live in my wardrobe, and I will blog anything that catches my eye in the mags here tomorrow.

It is no secret that I am craving a Celine Mini Luggage bag.

So I contacted Matches today, sadly, the only two they have left in the UK at present are these

But the one I want is THIS!!! So the above two just do not compare!!!

Anyway, wanting the above bag makes it very easy to decide on other items that I really want just now - I am conveniently neglecting the fact that I do not own the bag yet!

Monday - Vanity Fair and Elton John Oscar Party Pictures :)

Hi Lovelies

I am feeling a little tired now! Staying up late for the Oscars has caught up on me, but nowhere near as much as The Pug - she is not used to staying up and hasn't got up from her bed all day!

Lots more piccies appeared today of the after show party events. There are only TWO parties worth attending for the Oscars. The Vanity Fair party and Elton John's annual party to support his Aids foundation! Elton raised over $5 million last night and the stars came out in force!
