There was only one fashion name in the air last night - and it was Prada ………..
The new Prada retrospective opens to the public tomorrow (May 2nd) at Harrods and is running for the month of May. It is a celebration of 25 years of the iconic Italian Brand.
The Dior one last year was incredible so Nadia, Clairey and Myself have arranged to go and see this in a couple of weeks.
I used to be seriously addicted to Prada so it is going to be really fun to see pieces that I would have had in my wardrobe at some point! Harrods do these exhibitions so well. There will be the obligatory pop up shop, an exhibition, window displays and of course a Pradasphere Marchesi Cafe, because who doesn't want to drink Prada Cocktails!
The clothes and shoes are showcased in giant glass domes so that you can walk between them and drool at all the fabulous silk printed dresses and shoes and bags. Hopefully there will be lots of fairy and lipstick pieces on display! There will be lots of pieces from Miuccia's archives too.
Last nights opening party for the beautiful people show you the scale of Prada love Harrods have invested in! It is pretty impressive.
