Some Gorgeous Couture Drool worthy pictures from Dior and Chanel in Paris

Hello Lovelies,

How was Tuesday for you?

I went out for lunch with my Mum and Sis today. We went to a lovely little pub right on the river, but sadly it was far too rainy to go outside. I was actually surprised they didn't have the log fire going - that is how cold it was!!! Jools Wore Capri pants, navy jersey top by Farhi and a cardigan. I even considered wearing boots - how sad is that! I compromised with a wedge sandal.

Couture week is underway in Paris. Today was the turn of Chanel to show us things that we will never be able to afford without a lottery win, but we can still appreciate the breathtaking attention to detail.

Dolce & Gabbana also excitingly announced that they will show their first ever Couture collection on the 9th July. They are going to show at home in Italy this year, not in Paris, but it is an exciting time to see if they can cut it in the very high-end world of Couture.

Olivia Palermo was spotted yesterday morning on route to the Dior show - sigh it must be so hard to be given gorgeous clothes and bags to wear to advertise the brand!! Some of the dresses were beautiful. I would love to know what you think.

The Dior A/W 2012/13 Couture Show. It was the first from their new head of design Raf Simon, and he showed the entire collection against a beautiful backdrop of exquisite flowers.

Anna Wintour, was of course on the front row ............

and these were the pictures coming through from Chanel today which took place at the Grand Palais

Diane Kruger was at Chanel

The theme was lots of lovely filmy and very shiny pieces, some even came with pom poms! And there were lots of lurex tights below layers of tweed coats. The collection was dubbed New Vintage - Karl went back to the past for some very old style looks but made very much for today (well for the Millionaires that can afford it anyway!)

The Invitation

Backstage before the show

The Show closed, as has become Karls tradition, with a bridal gown.

I hope you loved the pictures. Thanks for reading

Until tomorrow
