Coming out of the Closet! Summer Dresses

Hi Lovelies,

What a gorgeous week it has been so far. We are being spoilt by the lovely weather.  I had some friends come round this morning and we sat in the garden drank lots of tea and had a good catch up! 

The baby robin is still with us - we have popped it in a slight larger bird cage to try to get her/him to move around a little bit more - but I will keep you updated :)

The Ugg Sandals are ALL kinds of amazing. Honestly, if you have the chance, give them a try, they are like wearing slippers with heels - damn it, I want the nude colour now too - they really are THAT good.

I have also been wearing the H&M Icons leather jacket non stop so I am so glad to own it.

I have been trying to bag one of the Topshop Tea Dresses in Blue but it is always showing as out of stock (it is a similar style to the orange one I blogged about last week)

Holly wore it on This Morning yesterday so oh dear, I thought it was going to be even harder to come by.

But today a single dress came back into stock in my size so I jumped on it (serendipity or what!)

I saw them instore last week in HOF and for the price point they are incredibly

well cut and the material is of a really great quality.

H&M Icons Collection and some new wedges .........

Hello lovelies,

I hope the week has been good to you - my week has been lovely - helped enormously by a dollop of sunshine which even saw us spend time tidying the garden yesterday. I am so impatient - 6 months of frankly dreadful weather and I expect the garden to be looking like something out of a home magazine after a single day of working on it!

A Robin Redbreast has decided to build her nest in our garden - but not in one of the plentiful high trees at the back - no, low down in a magnolia bush when we have cats and dogs!!! The poor birds fell out of the nest and sadly only one survived. We have built a nest out of a wine box!!! Mummy Robin has found it and is feeding her in there - so we are all really hoping this gorgeous baby is going to be ok. 

My H&M Icons leather jacket finally arrived (I promise it is my last leather jacket, and this one is

entirely the fault of Miss Nadia - you need to stop making it look so good missy!)

It is a really lightweight one and I am really taken with it.

It has been the subject of so many beautiful blogs in the past week since it was released - It is incredible how many fashion bloggers have already styled it.

There are so many more beautiful pictures out there than mine, but I am delighted to have found one.

My annual search for the perfect summer wedge has begun!

It is probably the most important single buy of the year, as your feet get hot, and this is one purchase where they really, really need to be comfortable BUT they also need to look as good with little dresses as theydo with white jeans, floaty items, etc ...........

I saw this pair while reading Vogue this week - gah it is depressing that I even

thought about Ugg Wedges while reading Vogue, but I am a realist when it comes to summer

shoes - and pain in summer is very unattractive - nobody likes seeing a hobbler in a sun dress!

And I kinda figured that an Ugg sandal would be incredibly comfortable!

So I have ordered these from My Wardrobe to see if they could be 'The ones'

H&M Conscious Collection has finally been despatched ........

Hi Lovelies,

Well my cold shows no sign of abating yet! argh I hate being ill. Runny eyes along with a sore throat - I  really must stop moaning !!

The Conscious collection deliveries from H&M are finally being despatched, which cheered my day considerably! Why they are taking so long I have no idea. 3 weeks since ordering and the pink dress has still not been sent. But this beautiful one was well worth the wait. H&M service online is shocking, but the dresses, if you get in quickly enough are pretty amazing.

The dresses come on a velvet hanger inside a blush coloured garment bag.

I love the detailing - for the price range it is exquisite.

and these little sandals could well become my summer staples - it is nice to have a closed toe pair for colder days

They should be here tomorrow, I hope they are the perfect height for daytime - I will let you know!

Pushing Daisies ......................

Hi Lovelies,

A pretty horrible cold and sore hroat for Jools meant a day at home. How typical that the sun starts shining and I get ill!

Still, even when poorly, I can appreciate the change of weather and it makes me very happy!

Today also reminded me of a scene from You've got Mail. Meg Ryan had a cold and she talked about Daisies being her favourite flower because they are so friendly - and I completely agree with her. So that, and a pair of Jeans that I picked up in London on Saturday are today's blog inspiration.
