Highlights from the High Street!!

Hi Lovelies,

Another wet wet day here. Every summer outfit currently needs to be weighed up by whether or not it will work with Wellies!!!

This week has just flown by. I cannot believe it is Friday tomorrow. If only every week could have a four day weekend huh.

So we are going away on Sunday just for a couple of days. It is going to be so lovely to wake up on my Birthday in Somerset. I simply cannot wait.

I have the gorgeous red Westwood dress to take with me (I blogged some piccies of it last week). But a girl needs a back-up right? !!!!

Well, I am happy to try anything once. And this is my first foray into Cos Clothing ............

It is often on my radar for structured shapes and sharp tailoring to recommend to others, but that is not usually a look that I ever go for myself. But this dress caught my eye and I was very keen to see it in real life.

I was very impressed with how easy ordering was, and how quickly the dress was delivered.

Cos Sleeve Detail Dress €99 - (about £89) - It is a really beautiful silky material

I love the frankly bonkers sleeves (very hard to find the armhole lol as it is very high up like a Kimono)
I was thinking it would look nice with red painted nails and a red lip x

Together with the Red Fond Vivienne Westwood Dress
So that is my outfits already planned - we may as well go now!

As promised, this is all about the High Street this evening. So if you don't mind, these are some pieces that have really caught my eye in the past few days.

I have placed an order for these Polkadot Capri pants. They just look very sweet.
They are from the Kelly Brook Collection for New Look - This is her first clothing range for them
but she has been designing Lingerie for a while now. I think they will
suit a curvy frame, so they are going to look good on lots of girls

Although I cannot promise we will look like this, sadly!!!

Capri Pants - £24.99

I thought these would work well with the pants

They are also from New Look and are on sale. A bargainous £18.74

This is another dress from the Kelly Brook for New Look Range. I love the off the shoulder detail - So perfect for a holiday or a sunny day (we can dream!)

Bardot Scenic Dress - New Look £39.99

Pleated Ribbon Mint Green Dress - Oasis £80

In Topshop, they have now bought out some fabulous shorts in the Same Jubilee
Swan Material

Swan Print Cotton Shorts - Topshop £35

It would look so nice with this

Panel Sleeved Tee - Topshop £32

or with this sweater on a cooler (normal!) day

Knitted Sheer Sleeved Open back Top - Topshop £34

See this isn't just thrown together! Both tops would also work with this

Full Leather Skirt - Warehouse £80

and lastly, I am a little in love with these (and they would look great with the skirt above!)

New in this week at Very. They are designed by Fearne Cotton

Stud Heel Ankle Boots - £60

The piccies above are very small, but you can check them out HERE

I hope you have enjoyed my High Street Edit - Please let me know!!!

Thanks for reading x

Glad you have found Cos - probably my favourite shop, although as a fellow 'petite'(5'3") I think you have to be careful with the deconstructed shapes sometimes. This dress though is stunning on you! Lovin' the High st edit - exquisite choices. Have a wonderful trip and a superb birthday! Do let us see what you wear, even just during the day! PBx

Love the blue cos dress, I'm thinking I might now like this for a wedding I have at the end of June and then Courtenays graduation in July! I have my eye on an orange one from their for my hols. I have a lovely one from last summer from there x

Thanks Poppy :) I think a mad sleeve is totally the way to go if you are smaller, as it doesn't seem to drown you the way detailing on the actual body of the dress would. I will take lots of piccies I promise. Oooh and I have shoes now to go with the cos Dress!!!

S, I can totally recommend it! It looks so simple, but comes to life when you put it on, and it would work brilliantly for both I think!
