Hybrid - because I can't keep them to myself any longer!

Hi Lovelies,

You know when you find a dress designer that just 'works' for you? When you do, you want to buy every single dress that they design (ok - that may be just me!!!), and you kind of get selfish and keep them to yourself for a little while!

And often, even once you have found a designer that works for your bodyshape, you have to save for ages. I feel like this with Roland Mouret, and because each dress does cost so much, I am careful about where and when I wear them too.

Well, step forward Hybrid!

I first discovered them on ASOS when I was looking for a fitted dress that fell below the knee. They looked great (do not let the fact that Lydia from Towie loves them put you off either!) but I kind of thought, at £85 for your average dress, they might stretch too much or not fit so well.

So I ordered a forest green neck panel detail dress in the summer and must confess, I did not have too much of an expectation.

Well I was happy to be proved very wrong .......

Hybrid Dress with Neck Panel and pocket detail - £85

It fitted beautifully, the fabric is thick and the stretch is there for sure, but because the material is a great quality, it doesn't go baggy at all - it just stays in place and cinches you in where you want it to. If you have boobs, and/or a butt - these dresses are going to ADORE you!!!

I popped on my Mouret Dress, and then tried this one on - and I promise you - this one felt almost as special!

Maybe it was a lucky one off I thought .....

but I saw another style recently that I loved, so I thought, let's see if it was a fluke last time!

Hybrid Dress with Side Zip Feature in Midi Length £85

Aww I am always a sucker for the midi length. If you add a court shoe, it just falls below the knee and it is such a ladylike length to wear

I am gonna rock my Hermes Kelly with this dress
but I also have a girly night coming up soon that I want to wear it for too

I think my husband will prefer these to the Dandy Style blog yesterday somehow!!

Hybrid are very clever. They tend to stick with certain designs that work, and bring them out in bright colours for summer alongside camels, beiges and white, and then just update the design for winter with a palette of Oxblood, Navy Blues, and Forest Greens, so if you find a style you want, you can buy them again in a slightly lighter fabric for summer in brighter colours!

So if you are looking for a special dress, that is not going to break the bank, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am already thinking about which one to get next .........

They have also just launched their own website so you can buy them directly now too.
Details are HERE!

Thanks for reading x
