A lovely dinner with friends, and Urban Decay brings out a baby palette!

Hello Lovelies,

It was a little bit of a jaded Jools that awoke this morning!

I blame it entirely on the fact that I thought I would cut out carbs for a week before the wedding next Saturday, nothing to do with the Champagne and Red Wine obviously! This is going to be the longest week EVER and I am already craving bread and cheese!

We went out for dinner with our friends last night to celebrate with them before Christmas, it was such a lovely evening - and what Christmas is all about - being with people you love spending time with.

What can I say, good food was eaten, lots of alcohol was drunk, and Christmas Elf outfits for the dogs were ordered while under the influence .............. a pretty average night chez Jools!

It was a night for a little black dress, so I wore this one from Toppers that hadn't had an outing yet

Jools Wore Topshop Crochet Dress - £48

So today was a nice quiet one, with lots of tea and only popping out for a Latte and supplies.

Urban Decay have bought out a Matt Eyeshadow Version of their super popular Naked and Naked 2 Palette
It is available now and is a very reasonably priced at £20

It is a smaller version than the original and holds 5 Shadows and a highlighter

Here are the details:

Naked Basics is a smaller more travel friendly palette for the gals that love a good shade of basic matte. The palette contains five wearable matte shades and one demi-matte shade with a tiny touch of satin that you can use to highlight with.
Every since the launch of Urban Decay’s cult favorite Naked and Naked 2 Palettes fans have been clamoring for a matte version. Naked Basics is that palette. All six shadows are full size and contains four new and exclusive shades and two re-promoted colors.
You get:
  • Venus (soft, off white demi-matte)
  • Foxy (very light yellow beige matte)
  • Walk of Shame (light pinky nude matte)
  • Naked 2 (rosy taupe matte)
  • Faint (warm dusty brown matte)
  • Crave (deepest, darkest brown black matte)

I have ordered one so I am looking forward to trying it out. Also, if you order it from Debenhams at the moment, it is £18 with free delivery!

These shades would work beautifully with this dress - truly a perfect outfit for Christmas Day

I have the full sized naked pallet and if ever away is something I always pack and leave the rest behind. I planning on investing in this for my bridal kit. Love that dress from warehouse.
