Wow, what kind of hair wizardry is this ..............

Hi Lovelies,

You may have worked out for yourselves by now that I am a sucker for a gimmick! And when it comes to hair gadgets, I am usually to be found at the front of the queue! We have crimpers, straighteners, wands, barrel tongs, clamp tongs, hairdryers that straighten and blow out at the same time, heated rollers, non heated rollers, sleep in rollers (you get the picture!) - and I cannot be the only one that uses them for a week straight, thinks they are the best thing ever invented, and then change my mind and put them in the cupboard (well PC's wardrobe if you really want to know - its not like he uses it much!) never to see the light of day again.

But the latest, most hyped new hair product from Babyliss is getting an awful lot of attention.
It's the Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl Hair Styler

It gives the perfect wave, the kind that makes you look like you have not tried "too" hard. And the way it works is some kind of magical sorcery!

The hair is clamped and then automatically drawn into the curling chamber (the round part) and when released, the curl is complete.

You have to see it in action to really believe it! Watch the video here!

The retail price is going to be £169, so it is a serious hair investment. But if - as it purports, it gives you salon worthy curls at home - it could save you money long term - and let's be honest - it looks soooo fun!

QVC had it on offer earlier this week, selling it for just under £90 but they sold out immediately - it could be worth checking to see if they do another promotion - as it is a serious saving. They will be widely available over the next few weeks, but are going for as much as £200 on eBay (there are some serious hair fanatics out there)

I picked up a denim top from Zara yesterday
(they also have loads of Louis Vuitton "inspired" checked pieces in now too!)

It is waffle knit at the back - a nice transitional piece so Jools Wore it today

Waffle Knit Denim Top £29.99 - Zara
Watch - Chanel

And this afternoon Mimi and I went and had a Manicure as an Easter treat

Ring - Swarovski Crystal
Bag - Balenciaga City

I hope you all have the most fabulous Easter - and that you eat so much chocolate that you
feel dizzy!

Pretty Topshop Gwenda Heels and High Street gorgeousness

Hi Lovelies,

White shoes are very much the order of the day for summer (yes, I know - I was unsure too!!!) but wherever you look they appear to be lurking and multiplying.

But if you are unsure if they are going to be a one season summer trend, Topshop (as always) have the answer.

Their Gwenda stilettos are selling fast. They are available in a rainbow of colours - have a heel that is just about low enough to wear during the day, and are so versatile that they will work just as well for work, as they do for play with jeans and dresses!

At £58 a pair, they are surely worth a try!!!

Emily Rossum took to the red carpet in the white ones this week

Topshop Gwenda Stiletto Heels £58 a pair

Sooo, are you tempted? and would you brave the white, or go for some colour?

I picked up this cute little blouse from Zara

Combination Crochet Blouse - £39.99 Zara
Perfect for summer, and nice to wear now with Jeans

and while we are on the white theme - I adore this coat that Mollie King from The Saturdays was snapped in last week.

Yes I know white is not practical at all, but it is sooooo pretty!

Mango Maxi Collar Off White Coat £149.99

oooh I want it so badly.
Sadly they only have an XS or S left in stock online and in
Mango that equates to a size 6 & 8, so if anybody does see it instore - can you let me know and I will love you forever!

and lastly, this lovely cobalt blue bag from Zara is my bargain of the week

V&A and Coast team up for some very special dresses

Hi lovelies,

The High Street store Coast (hey, we all know it - it has surely saved from of us from a wedding disaster) has collaborated with the Victoria and Albert Museum and allowed them to trawl through their archives and create some spectacularly detailed pieces.

Inspired by last years successful ballroom exhibition, the idea is to give the customer a little piece of fashion history.

I have to confess I am not a usual fan of coast - it is a little too dressing by numbers for me - and a little matchy matchy - but this collection is very special, and I would love to see these dresses in person.

This capsule collection consists of 6 ball gown's. With prices starting at £550 these are a very special treat, or could even be styled as a wedding dress - if you had a really special occasion - which one of these would you adore the most?

Coast V&A Collaboration Phoebe Gown £695

This is by far my favourite - I would love an occasion to wear this!
Coast V&A Collaboration Daphne Dress £550

Coast V&A Collaboration Patience Gown £895

Coast V&A Collaboration Cecily Dress £895

Coast V&A Collaboration Blanche Dress £550

Coast V&A Collaboration Lottie Dress £695

The dresses are available in 4 flagship stores and online
What do you think?

Birthday memories .........

Hi Lovelies,

Awwwww, Mia is 14 today. I cannot begin to tell you how emotional that is.

Our baby being born honestly seems like 5 minutes ago - how is it possible that we are lucky enough to be 14 years down the line?

I remember having Elli Rose - I remember every single second, and when we had her, I just remember thinking - how could we possibly have more love to give to somebody else the way we do this little one?

And then, we found out about Mia. I was nowhere near as relaxed..... after all, we had already been blessed once - who were we to be this lucky twice in a row!!! And yet I prayed every day that she would be another girl!!

When we found out she was, it was like winning the lottery - truly like all of our wishes and dreams and hopes had been answered - and it was the easiest pregnancy ever! Well, apart from if I ate pineapple!

She didn't want to come out - like ever - she was more than comfortable inside Mummy - and trust me when I say - there really IS a bad time to be told - you don't have the hips for this ........... lol!

But finally, curiousity got the better of her, and the world seemed like a place that she would want to check out - and at 11.10pm on a warm March 23rd Mia graced us with her presence, and Jools world was complete.

And now, here we are - 14 years old and the absolute joy of life. I have no idea why I was lucky enough to give guidance to somebody so bloody lovely - but I know that I am thankful for it every single day.

Happy Birthday little one - you may be 5 inches taller than Mummy already - but you will always be my baby.

and so tonight we celebrated!

and YES - 14 years on and I DO have heels on and Mia doesn't lol  but well you know how it is!!

we had such a lovely family evening
