Fringe Benefits ……….

Hey Lovelies,

I just went for it today and lopped my hair off. Spur of the moment decisions are always the best ones I think!!
I have been boring everybody with it for ages - I blame Alexa Chung of course - but she would quite frankly look good wearing a boiler suit and a bag over her head, so she is not the best person to model a hair style on to be honest, and I thought I should get my Anniversary party out of the way first incase I hated it!
But today felt like it should be the day - and a very wise friend of mine told me - hey - its just hair - it WILL grown back!

So at the age of ahem - well, almost grown up, I finally have my first fringe! It feels odd - I keep blowing it out of my eyes - but I really like it!
It helps that one of my best friends in the world is also my hairdresser so last minute decisions are allowed ………….

These were the two pictures that I have been carrying around in my bag for ages ……….

and this is the one I think I love but will work up to, as its a really serious blunt fringe

but now I have bitten the bullet I think this is where I will go next!

so it is pretty flat today as its just been cut, but it should be bouncy soon lol!

The Topshop A Line striped dress has been re-released in green.

(except for in petite which is fine if you are a little one!)

I tried it on - it's really cute - although not sure who is gonna work it as well as Bey!

They are fugly - right! ………… or is it just me!

Heres a first look at Alexa Chung's latest A/W 2014 campaign for Longchamp.
The pictures are beautiful and the bag she is carrying is a new take on their classic Le Pliage Heritage Bag. It is definitely more special than a regular Pliage! I think I want one ……...

This is Chung's second campaign for Lonchamp and this bag is being released to celebrate 20 years of the famous Pliage bag. It was shot at the Chateau des Ormes in France.

An incredible 10 Le Pliage bags are sold every single minute worldwide which means since they were first designed in late 1993, over 30 million of them have been purchased!

It is not a surprise, when folded up they take up no space at all, and the Nylon versions with leather handles start from £54, so it is definitely affordable designer fashion!

You can now personalise them too and create your own unique bag with your name on if you wish!

And also this week I managed to find the little Mulberry wallet that I was looking for to work with my Hermes Evelyne.

How to make a weekend wonderful !

Hi Lovely Ones,

Hope you are having a lovely weekend - the sun has been shining for a week now, and I have freckles and a pink nose - I also have panda eyes from never taking off my sunglasses - I'm avoiding looking too closely at that!

It has been an odd few weeks - I am a creature of habit and I love things being just so - it makes me feel safe I guess.
But our next door neighbours are moving away next week and we moved in at exactly the same time 15 years ago so it's a strange time. They are the very first people to move from our street since we all moved in - and my local coffee shop which I go to every single day and write my blogs is closing down after 12 years next week too - it is bizarre how upset I am by this happening - I'm with Ross from Friends - nobody likes change! I need to get a grip!

Royal Ascot has had the most glorious weather - and I have watched it every day. I love the whole pomp and pageant of it and seeing everybody dressing in their absolute finery and making such a huge effort - it really is a spectacular site to see and if you were there - I am so jealous.
Next year I am definitely going to attend. I love a hat!!

We made the most of the longest evenings of the year by going out for tapas and cocktails last night. I found a vintage floral Kate Moss dress in the wardrobe that I had completely forgotten about - and it was perfect for a summer evening of drinking pretty things!

I wore my new Tiffany Bracelet too …….

and we sunk a few of these fabulous cosmopolitans

and ate some cinnamon churros dipped in hot chocolate

(which were so good they should actually be declared illegal)

and today was so exciting as a new bag arrived!

She was the reason for me being so good in the sales ……..

it was more than worth the wait!

so I am completely in love and now of course I need a Wallet to go with her!

I would love the Mulberry Bluebell French purse.
