Saturday - Sex and the City Stylee!

Hi Lovelies,


How has your Saturday been!

I went and did the daughter thing today and picked up an Orchid and some pretty flowers and a card for my Mummy for Mothers Day, and then we all met for a big impromptu lunch out which was fabulous.

My lovely brother also moved into his new home today, so it was a pretty busy afternoon.

This evening, we are going to a dinner party at our neighbours house (easy stumbling distance home!) She is Thai and the most amazing cook, so I am very much looking forward to having dinner with a glass of wine (or two!) so I thought I better blog now, and just add to it later!

At least one thing I don't have to worry about is what shoes to wear this evening. She is super strict and won't even let me wear my brand new, box-fresh shoes inside her home (believe me I have tried!), so I am to spend the entire evening as a tiny person! lol.

It always makes me think about Carrie when she has her shoes stolen at a dinner party. Aww who remembers the glorious Manolo Sedaraby's! The episode is called A Women's right to shoes!

Because who hasn't been shoe shamed at least once!!

The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.



I know I am not single, but the sentiment is totally on the money for me !!
