Hello my lovelies,
I have had a lovely couple of weeks away from planet fashion.
It has been such a novelty to enjoy the incredible weather and spend much more time outdoors. I have missed you all of course and my bright pink sunburn from over a week of constant sunshine is slowly turning into the kind of base tan most normal gals get after a day or two. But it still counts - right! Pink is also very much the theme of todays blog post.
You know when a designer slowly creeps up on you, and you start to look at what they are doing and their new collections before anybody else?
Well I feel this way about Simone Rocha. She has only been showing since she graduated in 2010, but I find the colour palettes that she uses, so romantic yet modern. She is the daughter of John Rocha so it is fair to say she has had a pretty amazing introduction to fashion! She specialises in laser cutting and uses cutting techniques in a modern but wearable and almost whimsical way.
Well, I would adore her entire A/W 2013 collection and one of the reasons for this is that she has shown an awful lot of pink. Pink in Winter is truly one of my favourite colours as it works so well with black! It was also the inspiration for my first fashion blog back .........

I've been away too, I needed a break! Love that Balenciaga dress, perfect for my daughters wedding but it's not till 2015 and after I've bought hers, I'll have to go to Primark! x

I think its good to have a little break sometimes honey :) The wedding will be the most stylish one of 2015 for sure!!!! lots of saving to do !!!!
