Tuesday - Olivia Ruben Collection - Pretty in Pink!

Hi Lovelies,

Thank you for helping me reach over 20,000 views. It is pretty incredible in 4 months and I am so grateful and happy that you like reading my little daily blog - it gives me a ready brek glow!!!!

I hope you are well. I have a sore throat and a cold, but on the plus side, apparently I have a husky voice just now - so it evens itself out really !!!

I had a lovely day out with my friend today. We gossiped for England and consumed lots of Latte's - while the rain lashed down outside - Perfect :) My Sprouse Scarf even came out again today - thats how cold it is out there still! It's madness

Do any of you have a High Street Shop that doesn't work for you? One that you just don't even consider going in ?

Well for me, it has always been Dorothy Perkins!

I think it stemmed from when I was younger. My sister would always buy her clothes in there, but I would always choose Chelsea Girl or Tammy Girl - Dotty P's just was never on my radar and it hasn't changed since that time! To me, it always seems like Topshop's much shabbier great aunt.

BUT two things have happened recently! My very lovely friend Clairey got some beautiful things in there - it was the last shop we went into and we should have gone in there first as she found everything she needed and looked pretty blinking fabulous.

and then came whispers of a collaboration!

Well what's a girl to do! I was torn, for ooh a second - but I am always happy to be proven wrong and so I am happy to give them a try!

Olivia Ruben (they of the bright happy colours and prints) have bought out a capsule collection for DP!

So, I have ordered this dress to see what the collection and quality will be like

Pink Chiffon Wrap Dress - Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins - £45

These pieces also caught my eye

Lilac Asymetrical Dress £40

Blush Peplum Top with Shell Pattern £25

and you can view the entire collection HERE!! so have a little look and tell me what you think!

Well a dress that cute surely deserves to be worn with some fabulous shoes
So these are on the way to Jools - you might remember that they were the top item on my April Blog wish-list!

Pink 100mm Pigalle's - Christian Louboutin - £ (husband disclaimer  - ooh I don't remember)!

I think these are gonna work well with jeans too, can't wait to show you them when they arrive.

And I suppose I need to say a big well done to Chelsea for making it into the Final - my brother may recover in about a week!

Just another Manic Monday ............

Hi Gorgeous ones,

My blog is becoming like a Weather-Watch!
Today was ANOTHER awful day of rain - how much more can possibly fall!

I got soaked this morning, but I did have a cup of tea AND a Latte so it was well worth it!

I refuse to let the rain bring out any more dull outfits though! So Jools Wore Jeans (Diesel) and a floaty butterfly kimono top (Topshop), but with a jersey underneath (Zara). I did have to put a scarf on too, which kind of defeats the object, but still .............................

Today was made very exciting though as we booked my favourite Hotel and Spa for my birthday in June. I am so excited about going already. It's my favourite place on earth. A couple of days there is like a weeks holiday!

Harrods also came through for me, after they got involved with some issues I had with Chanel! This arrived via courier today.

It is one of the blended Chanel perfumes that is limited to Chanel Stores Only
and a giant 200ML one. It has honey undertones and smells lush!

I had to show you this dress - err HOW beautiful is this!

Ruby Red Dress - Vivienne Westwood Gold Label £1885

We haven't done a VOD for a little while. So et Voila

Summer Coat with Velvet Bow trim - Miu Miu £1550

Jacquard Dress - Carven £715

Platform Sandals - Carven £415

oooh and I can do a reveal for you tomorrow if you ask nicely!!!

Thanks for reading x

Sunday - Showers, Shakes & Shopping

Hi Lovelies,

Well Sunday has been good fun.
I watched the London Marathon in bed this morning with Tea and Toast - surely the closest I will get to the action. I am seriously in awe of every single runner though - it is an incredible achievement, and the pictures of London made it look so beautiful.

The rain held off until this evening, so we headed into London this afternoon. I took Celine out to play.

We stopped at Westfield first ................. can I just put it out there - I HATE IT!!!!

It should be the most amazing shopping experience, but it never is. The stores have no more stock than any other average high street store and it is always so overly heated and too busy. It makes me feel grouchy - surely not what shopping should be about at all!!!

So we then headed into Knightsbridge for an ickle look around Harrods.

Well the Louboutin Salon did not have any studded Pigalle's in stock, in fact, they didn't have a single pair of Pigalle's available! and Celine didn't have any Mini Luggage bags available either - their entire bag store was almost empty. So there was no fashion temptation for Jools there.

Balenciaga and Miu Miu were really well stocked, they had some incredible coloured bags, all pinks and purples and rose colours - so pretty!

Chanel also had some gorgeous Patent bags available, but I am staying strong and boycotting them after the poor service I have had from them recently (damn it, I am not sure how much longer this can last!!)

There was an amazing French Bulldog in Pet Kingdom though, heheeee, AND I had a fabulous Nutella Malted Milkshake!

Yummmmmmmy!

I hope you have all had a fabulous weekend, would love to know what you have all been up to.

Thanks for reading.

Saturday - oooh Its only the weekend!!!

Hi Lovely Ones,

£900!!!!! Thats what my blinking car cost for it's service.
I would expect to be serviced by Daniel Craig for that ......... AND in those blue trunks ............ in a shaken and stirred fashion! blah blah blah - I told you I hate garages!. Damn, now I need to see a picture of him ........

Ahh, thats better! Anyhow, it is sorted now and I even treated it to a wash today - by that I mean I took it somewhere, I do not want to be breaking the hose pipe ban now do I!

I hate wasting money, when it could be used on something completely practical - like new shoes - oooh its just not right :D So while it was being washed, I HAD to consume this AND coffee, Sigh!!!!

Hope you have had a fab Saturday.

Well I had to shop to get over the trauma of dealing with such nightmares.

So, I ordered the All Saints Rogalle Dress today that was on my wishlist

oh and I placed a Topshop order too, so will reveal that shortly.

Tonite, we went out with the girls for cocktails and Tapas

So Jools Wore

Crystal Collar Shell Top from Topshop (about £40)

Black True Religion Jeans & Leather Firetrap Jacket

 and we ate fabby things!!!

A totally chilled day calls for a totally chilled song. This came up on Shuffle earlier - haven't heard it for eons - ahhhh tis lush!

You have gotta love abit ofTripping Out - Curtis Mayfield

Thanks for reading, I love that you do x

Friday - So so so over wearing a winter wardrobe!

Hi Gorgeous ones

Well, it was another awful rainy day out there. My summer wardrobe is mocking me. Every time I open the wardrobe all these lovely things are staring at me, but it is so cold and rainy that they are just not getting a look in! Bah Humbug.

Some great news following last nights blog - my lovely friend Ness has ordered the studded Louboutin roller flats! It is her first pair of Loubies so I cannot wait for them to be delivered  to see what they really look like and what she thinks. How very exciting.

Hubby was home today so we went out for lunch.

The hailstones were so heavy that the winter wardrobe was back out.

So today, Jools Wore my Fearne Cotton grey cape, with some Firetrap Skinny Jeans and brightened it up with the Celine bag :) I cannot believe we are still having to wrap up warm - it is crazy weather!

I was tempted to wear my new Pink Zara Coat today, but last night my lovely daughter read my blog and texted me to say - Nice new Coat Mummy, it is the sort of thing Dolores Umbridge would wear .......  oh don't you just love them!!

So, it was a case of comfort food all round today as it was sooooo cold!!

My car was also in for a service today - it is safe to say it cost more than 2 pairs of Louboutins ......... and they didn't even wash it - So that totally scuppered my plans - it was the only reason I had booked it in after all!

I have a couple of All Saints dresses on my radar at the moment too

All Saints Porcelain Dress £250

All Saints Rogalle Dress £95

I really like them both!

These little cuties are new in at Topshop (very Terry De Havilland)

Palais Mint Platforms - £85 at Topshop

Wine Wednesday was postponed until tonight, so I am enjoying a glass of this!

and a little bit of Celine porn for you. This bag is from A/W 12 so is not available yet - but its a really beautiful colour so wanted to show it to you.

Celine Suede Phantom Bag - A/W 2012 Collection

Thanks for reading, I hope you have a fabulous weekend

Thursday Musings ..... Will practicality EVER win out!!

Hi Lovelies

I spend far too much time thinking about shoes.
In fact, there is never really a day where I don't dream about what my next pair will be.

Most people plan their perfect outfit and then choose their shoes - I never do this!
I think about the shoes I want to wear that day (for whatever reason when I am thinking about them, I am always skipping - and usually through apple blossom - I really need to work on that!) and then the rest of my outfit comes together after.

It would be fair to say that I have a fair few pairs of heels! But whenever I think about buying a new pair they are ALWAYS heeled! It can't just be because I am little - can it?

Today, I was thinking about the Studded Loubies, as I do most days. Now £700 is a lot to spend on one pair of shoes, but I figure I will wear them with a lot of things (well maybe!)

But more and more I have been looking at the Flat version, wondering if they wouldn't be a better option?

My head knows they would be - for a start, I could probably walk in them instead of my usual totter, and that is always a plus point, (although not one that I ever truly consider when purchasing). But my heart screams at me that I need that heel!

Is it age though that is making me even consider a flat pair? Am I becoming, (gulp) Practical!!!

These are the pair I want - They are the Louboutin Pigalle,  so let's face it - they are never going to be comfortable are they! But LOOK AT THEM!!!

and this is the rogue pair that keep popping into my mind (D, I tried to encourage you to get them so that I could live them through you, but you didn't bite!)

Louboutin Rolling Spike Slip ons (yes they are for girls!) £765

So can a girl that never wears flats, ever really overcome it and rock them? Every time I have ever tried to wear ballet pumps in the past, they have been far more uncomfortable than heels! And this quote always pops into my head .................

Would love your comments Please!!!!!

Wednesday - a spot of shopping !

Hi Gorgeous ones,

Only a little tiny blog tonight as it is late and Jools is a tired bunny!

I had a lovely day with my Mummy today.

We went for some lunch by the river!!!

Then we got soaked by a downpour!!!

and so the best way to dry off was in the shops (see I am ALL about the practical!)

and yay, I found that pink jacket from Zara that I blogged about last week.
It only came in yesterday and there were only two left, so I took that as as sign that I shouldn't leave without it!

Crewneck Coat £69.99 - Zara

Sweet Dreams, and I will catch up with you tomorrow
