Monday - The sun came out to play, just for a little while :)

Flowers are the only things truly enjoying the weather - they look soooo happy!

Hi Lovely Ones,

I couldn't sleep last night, so today has been kind of like being in permanent super slow motion!

Nothing a Latte couldn't fix I thought. And my daily fix was made much more interesting as London Irish were signing a new player (they frequent my coffee bar a lot, but it has absolutely no bearing on why I am a regular obviously ........... )

I have no idea who the player was though as I just don't 'do' rugby - If they were footballers I would know more - my brother says their balls are the wrong shape and he does have a point .......... anyway, I digress, but it was nice to have pretty fit things to look at over lunch, and they happily posed for pictures with some young fans - very cute indeed!

I had a little MyWardrobe delivery today, which added to my good mood!

Sunday - Relaxation and Recovery

Hi Lovelies,

Well today has been spent recovering! Hangovers are soooo not fun as you get older. Big drinking nights do not happen very often for me thankfully as I just feel so awful for the entire day after!

Anyway, a Starbucks and lots of tea helped a little bit!

and a visit with the girls to WagaMama's helped a lot!

I also today found one of the Mary Katranzou floral lantern dresses that I blogged about last month, so I am one happy bunny! I cannot wait for it to be delivered now so I can show you lots of pictures of it.

Saturday - Dinner with friends and lots of Sheldon Cooper!

Hi Lovelies,

I was super smug yesterday, as I wrote my blog BEFORE I went out, thinking that I could just add a couple of pictures when I got back home and send out my nightly blog as usual ...........

Sadly! THIS happened to me ..........!

So it is a very very jaded and wretched feeling Jools who is belatedly posting yesterdays blog ............ Sorry it is late!!



Well it was a very Chilled Saturday, Mia went for a sleepover so she is now back and having an afternoon nap, and Elli has gone off to have a sleepover tonight (at least that is what she has told me!!), so it is pretty quiet here! We had a Big Bang Theory marathon while listening to the rain outside.

We are going out for dinner this evening, and I am really looking forward to a night out!

I have been on the Power Plate this afternoon. The only thing that gets me through a session is thinking of things I hate EVEN more than doing it! Today I came up with these: Jogging, Crocs, Tuna, Courgettes, biting into a a cumin seed,  oh and Holby City ..............

Freaky Weather Friday!

Hi Lovelies,

Wow, I feel soooo much better today. Thank goodness! I am back on form.

Well we can safely pop Dorothy Perkins back in the never to ever enter box - the dress is all kinds of hideous ! It is such a cheap nasty fabric, in a horrid bright pink, and it is really short (and I am only an ickle one, it would struggle to cover a regular heights bottom!).

It's an actual horror of a dress to be completely honest ............. hmmm I should have trusted my DP judgement on this one. Some shops just are not for me.

So what with this AND the pretty awful coloured Loubies, it has been an online shopping fail for Jools this week! Online shopping will never beat going to a store to see and feel things first hand, but sadly it won't put me off!

My new All Saints dress IS a success story though! I really like it. I am going to wear it out tomorrow evening, so will take modelling pictures then - it is this one :)

I had a great day in Guildford, meeting with the Make Up Artist for my friends wedding. Another box ticked. Everything is coming along there so nicely - I really need a job in Bridal !

So while the rain lashed down, I had some time to have a quick look around the shops.

You might remember this Carven Skirt that I really wanted!

I ummed and aahhhed about this skirt. Firstly I was put off by the colour - I can just picture it now - Jools with a glass of red wine, and/or Coffee, sitting on a recently painted bench, and then Pooky jumping up ............ you get it right?

and secondly the price!

I figured it would spend more time in the Dry Cleaners than at home - I am pretty clumsy!

And does anybody else have a love hate relationship with skirts? I just find them harder than jeans for some reason and I don't know why! With dresses, you just pop it on and go - it is so easy - but with skirts, you have to think about shoes, top, accessories ............

It is just an excuse of course as you have to do the same with trousers - but it just seems a lot more effort!

So I was really pleased to find this little alternative one today in good old Topshop!

It is a seriously nice, heavy material and I do not have to be precious with it!

Thursday - Still have a Cold, Its still raining ....... make it STOP!!!!

Hi Gorgeous ones,

Im still feeling rubbishy with a cold, so apologies for the short blog today.

The Olivia Ruben dress has arrived so I will review it tomorrow, I haven't even opened the package - this is not like me at all!

I have a wedding consultation with the bride tomorrow - we are meeting with a hair & make up artist for her big day, and then we are going to go shopping, so I have to be back on form by then!

So it has been the dullest day ever! But I have painted my nails!!!

Wet Wet Wet Wednesday!!!

Hi Lovely ones,

Well I feel rubbish!!! My head is fuzzy and gives me a nice head-rush every time I get up - Head Colds suck big time!!

It rained all day too - truly a Wednesday to forget for me. I hope yours was better.

This package arrived which was guaranteed to make me feel better. Louboutin's

But OH DEAR!!! Monsieur, what were you thinking!!

My Camera cannot properly convey how HIDEOUS the colour truly is! It is like they have been painted with this!

and they completely clash with the red sole - they look like a pair of shoes you would pay £10 for from a market stall! 

I actually laughed when I opened the box - but not as much as the girls did when they came home from school - to be fair it was more of a nervous laugh to begin with until I assured them that I wasn't keeping them!

They certainly do not look like the colour they are advertised as!

So even shoes could not cheer me up today - a sad day indeed!

I love that River Island Showcase Designers who have just graduated via their Design Forum

and it's a fair bit cheaper than your average Pilotto which start at around £1100!

and while I was browsing - I fell in love with this 50's inspired bikini - I love the less is more look, it is so much classier!
